Energy Star Light Bulbs

ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. If looking for new household products, look for ones that have earned the ENERGY STAR. Energy Star lighting meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and US Department of Energy. ENERGY STAR lighting provides bright, warm light but uses about 75% less energy than standard lighting, produces 75 percent less heat, and lasts up to 10 times longer.

ENERGY STAR Light Bulbs ( Including CFL Bulbs / Compact Fluorescent Bulbs ) Meet The Following Criteria:

• ENERGY STAR light bulbs use about 75 percent less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and CFL bulbs last up to 10 times longer, making them energy efficient light bulbs.
• ENERGY STAR light bulbs save about $30 or more in electricity costs over each CFL bulb's lifetime.
• ENERGY STAR light bulbs produce about 75 percent less heat, so they're safer to operate and can cut energy costs associated with home cooling.

The smallest things can add up to a real difference. We encourage you to change out the light fixtures or light bulbs at home that you use most with ENERGY STAR light bulbs. If every American home replaced their 5 most frequently used light fixtures or the light bulbs in them with ENERGY STAR lighting options, we would save close to $8 billion each year in energy costs, and together we would prevent the greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions from nearly 10 million cars.

We offer ENERGY STAR light bulbs in different sizes and shapes to fit in almost any lighting fixture, for indoors and outdoors. Our energy efficient light bulbs are also available in dimming and 3-way CFL bulbs.
