Fluorescent light bulbs offer a cheap and efficient lighting solution for commercial and residential structures. Fluorescent bulbs and other energy efficient light bulbs could potentially save you a fortune in energy and replacement costs.

The luminous output to input wattage ratio for fluorescent bulbs is much higher than that of incandescent bulbs.

This equates to fluorescent light bulbs being anywhere from 4 to 6 times more efficient than standard incandescent light bulbs.

Another factor of fluorescent bulbs is that they give off very little waste thermal pollution, if any at all. With standard incandescent light bulbs the filament must heat up to give off light. This produces waste heat, which can then cause increased power consumption by your air conditioning unit. No matter how you slice it, Fluorescent light bulbs will end up saving you a considerable amount of money.
