What Is It?
The Future Is Now
For years, lighting engineers have struggled, with little success, to find
the technology necessary to effectively reproduce daylight. The search is
over! Now, with a mere flick of a switch, you can be sure that you are seeing
colors the way they were meant to be seen. Eiko proudly introduces the first
and only lamp to simulate actual daylight, the SoLux MR-16 Display
Lamp. The SoLux MR-16 is a 12 Volt lamp, and is available in Floods and Spots.

What Does It Do?
True Color Rendition
The spectral power distribution of SoLux is identical to daylight across the
visible spectrum. The result is true color rendition of evrything from sparkling
jewels to clothing to sensitive art collections. It is available in three
color temperatures; 3500, 4100 and 4700 Kelvin, each
in multiple beamspreads and wattages.
Superior Beam Pattern
The beam uniformity of SoLux is unsurpassed. Other MR-16 and incandescent
reflector lamps emit uneven or splotchy intensity patterns which distract
the eye and change the appearance of an illuminated object.
Low UV Emission
SoLux has the lowest UV output of any display lamp currently available. The
combined UVA and UVB output of SoLux is as low as 8.55 microwatts per lumen.
Low Infra-Red Emission
SoLux's patented technology results in a larger reduction of Infra-Red rays,
up to 80 percent, when compared to standard tungsten-halogen lamps.
