How will an ambulance find your house in an emergency?
We offer a simple solution that installs in seconds: the HomeFinder Flashing
Light Control by AmerTac. Simply screw this simple lighting control into your
existing porch light and insert a standard light bulb. Then, in an emergency,
simply flip your light switch off then on quickly and your standard bulb will
flash continuously for 20 minutes.
Similar products, such as the Home Beacon or 911 Beacon, have the flashing
mechanism imbedded within the light bulb. The Home Beacon or 911 Beacon cost
$19.95 each and last for only 2000 hours (that means the Home Beacon or 911
Beacon must be replaced every 200 days burning 10 hours per night). The Home
Beacon or 911 Beacon will cost you almost $40 per year while the HomeFinder
Flashing Light Control costs just $12.95 and uses standard (cheap) light bulbs.
Other products involve replacing your existing light switch with a new switching
mechanism to control your 911 emergency lighting. The HomeFinder Flashing Light
Control may be installed by anyone who can screw in a light bulb, and will not
require installation by an electrician. Your new 911 emergency lighting can
be installed within seconds of delivery, and you can breath easier right away
knowing that your 911 emergency light will shave valuable seconds off the time
it can take an ambulance to find your house.
Another feature of the HomeFinder Flashing Light Control is a built in dawn-to-dusk
sensor that allows your HomeFinder to act as a standard/automatic porch light.
The HomeFinder Flashing Light Control is an ideal gift for seniors, those with
existing medical conditions, children, and well, just about anyone. Simply,
911 emergency lighting saves lives. Get 911 emergency lighting for yourself
and your loved ones right away.
Outdoor/Indoor 911 Emergency Light Control Instructions
This outdoor/indoor 911 Light Control will automatically turn your lights on
at dusk and off at dawn. Plus,
flipping your light switch "OFF", then "ON", activates the
911 emergency light flasher feature causing your
bulb to flash on and off. This feature can make it easier for emergency vehicles
to locate your home.
1. Screw the 911 HomeFinder Flashing Light Control unit into lamp socket.
2. Screw light bulb into the 911 HomeFinder Light Control unit.
3. Rotate photocell opening to face a strong source of daylight, but away from
any artificial or reflected light source.
4. Turn on switch used to control lamp. The 911 HomeFinder Light Control will
turn your light on at dusk and off at dawn automatically.
5. In case of an emergency, flip the light switch where your 911 HomeFinder
Light Control is connected "OFF", then "ON", and watch the
bulb blink on and off repeatedly, making it easier or emergency vehicles to
locate your home.
6. To stop your bulb from blinking, simply flip your light switch "OFF"
for 15 seconds and then "ON" again.
7. For testing the 911 HomeFinder Light Control unit during daytime, covering
the lens firmly with black tape should light the bulb. At night, shining a flashlight
at the lens should turn the light off.
Caution: Do not exceed lamp wattage specified on lamp fixture.
Note: This product uses incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. Use 100 Watts or
less if bulb is installed pointing up or 60 Watts or less if bulb is installed
pointing down (see diagram on package). Do not use this control with another
light control or dimmer in the same circuit. Do not use with yellow "bug
light" bulb.

Do your kids refuse to turn off the lights? We have a product that can help:
the AutoOff Light Control by AmertTac.
For years we have received phone calls and emails from customers looking for the
Philips IQ Auto Off Bulb. In all our years in the light bulb business we have
never witnessed a product that has fostered the kind of loyalty and passion
displayed for the Philips IQ Auto Off Bulb (there are even chat rooms and blogs
dedicated to the Philips IQ). So, of course, Philips discontinued their Philips IQ
line. What was so special about the Philips IQ Auto Off Light Bulb? The Philips IQ
Bulb had a chip inside the socket that turned the bulb off after 30 minutes of use.
This made the Philips IQ bulb ideal for kid’s rooms, closets, basements, stair cases,
or anywhere light is needed briefly but often left on.
Other products, such as the Bulb Boss by Beacon Light Products, approached the problem
differently. The Bulb Boss was a small disk that fit into a light socket that would
make a standard light bulb shut off after 15 or 30 minutes. One advantage of the Bulb
Boss over the Philips IQ was that after the initial investment a standard (cheap) light
bulb could be used. Alas, the Bulb Boss went the way of the Philips IQ Auto Off Bulb.
The product we offer, the AutoOff Light Control by AmerTac, combines the best features of
the Philips IQ Auto Off Bulb and the Bulb Boss, plus it goes a step further. The AutoOff
Light Control is an adapter that screws into any standard socket. Once the AutoOff Light
Control is installed it will accept any medium (standard) base light bulb. The AutoOff
Light Control keeps your light on for 15 minutes before automatically turning the bulb
off. If you can screw in a light bulb you can install the AutoOff Light Control, plus,
like the Bulb Boss, it’s reusable. What’s unique about the AutoOff Light Control is that
it also works with compact fluorescent light bulbs. Imagine the savings when you combine
the energy savings of compact fluorescent lighting with an AutoOff Light Control!

• Manufacturer: Neptun
NEPTUN Light, Inc., the manufacturer of the best dimmable compact fluorescent light bulbs we have
ever tested, now makes the first dimming switch made specifically for dimmable compact fluorescent
light bulbs.
We have tested their new compact fluorescent dimmer switch on dimmable compact fluorescent light
bulbs and the results far exceeded our expectations. NEPTUN’s APOLLO series compact fluorescent
dimmer switch offers a full dimming range, from 100% to 0%. The compact fluorescent dimmer switch
offers a user adjustable lowest dimming level setting. A very high wattage rating of 600 watts means
you can put several compact fluorescents on the same compact fluorescent dimmer switch. NEPTUN’s
compact fluorescent dimmer switch has standard wiring, designed to replace any ordinary switch or
any other dimmer switch model. This compact fluorescent dimmer switch is a standard style and size
(with a paddle switch and sliding adjustment). This compact fluorescent dimmer switch also works
with dimmable LED, halogen, and incandescent light bulbs.
Although NEPTUN’s dimmable compact fluorescents should work with any dimmer made after 1995, these
dimmable compact fluorescent dimmer switches perform brilliantly with any dimmable compact fluorescent
light bulb.
