Every OTT-LITE Technology lamp is scientifically formulated to simulate natural daylight indoors. The OTT-LITE Lighting system's unique formulation simulates the element of natural daylight. This technology is based on 40 years of research by photobiologist Dr. John Ott during the filming of Cinderella for Walt Disney. Dr. Ott discovered the formulation so Disney could film a pumpkin-growing sequence inside a studio. The pumpkin grew. The studio filmed. Dr. Ott devoted the next 40 years to refining his remarkable achievement. The same Company that helped develop Winter Blues (SAD) lighting therapy with the physicians at John's Hopkins School of Medicine, has created the OTT-LITE Lighting System.
