KCP&L Lighting Rebate
Program Produces Energy Saving and Money Saving Success Stories
KCP&L offers substantial
rebates for businesses to reduce their energy bills, and Light Bulbs Etc., Inc.
has experience in facilitating the process.
Lenexa, KS (PRWEB)
September 19, 2008 -- The Commercial and Industrial Rebate Program available
to KCP&L non-residential customers is producing energy-efficient success
stories.
With energy costs at a premium,
many local Kansas City metro area businesses are investigating methods for reducing
energy consumption and taking the steps toward achieving lower electric bills
as suggested by the Utility. Light Bulbs, Etc., Inc. in Lenexa, KS has assisted
several KCP&L customers in not only identifying and obtaining the proper
equipment for replacement but applying for the C&I rebate for its customers
as well.
"When a business realizes
the true benefit of this rebate program, it makes the decision to upgrade lighting
very simple," says Bob Black, owner of Light Bulbs, Etc., Inc. "Businesses
not only improve their lighting and reduce their electric bill but KCP&L
helps them pay for the upgrades while at the same time taking a step toward
being environmentally responsible. It's a winning situation for everyone involved."
Light Bulbs Etc., Inc. can
put together proposals for businesses that involve a detailed energy analysis,
lighting layouts, and return on investment reports. Additionally, Light Bulbs
Etc, Inc. will apply for and secure the rebate amounts offered for the project
by KCP&L. Lighting proposals and rebate applications are performed absolutely
free of charge and require no commitments. Once a proposal is accepted by the
business Light Bulbs Etc., Inc. will supply the materials required for the lighting
retrofit and arrange for installation.
Companies who have worked
with Light Bulbs, Etc. include Long Motors and Surface Solutions in Lenexa,
KS as well as CFM Distributor's and Ace Imagewear of Kansas City, MO. Black
states that "Many businesses can cut their lighting electric consumption
by as much as 50% just by changing the type of bulb and/or ballast they are
currently using. When you consider that KCP&L will pay for as much as half
of the materials and installation, it just makes good sense."
As energy costs continue
to rise, now may be the opportune time to consider upgrading current lighting
technologies to take advantage of rebate opportunities. For more information,
