LED Christmas lights, and LED’s in general, have distinct benefits over traditional incandescent light bulbs.

LED Christmas lights have a life span much greater than standard incandescent bulbs, over 25,000 hours. This means, unless they get damaged, they could practically last a life time of holiday seasons.

Being energy efficient is another key aspect of LED Christmas lights over incandescent bulbs. Getting into the Christmas spirit and really going all out for the holiday season can cause some hefty power bills. You can cut some of this cost by investing in some good LED Christmas lights, as these energy efficient light bulbs consume only a fraction of the power standard lights use.

LED Christmas lights are considerably more robust than standard incandescent lights. LED’s do not have fragile filaments that will eventually break with heat and cold or too much handling. Imagine hanging the Christmas lights without having to go through the whole string and replace the bad ones!
